The Senate Department for Economics, Technology and Research used the presentation of the Wearable IT Fashion Tech BERLIN AWARD in July 2015 to promote the latest wearable trends. During IT COUTURE, 10 teams pitched for prize money totalling EUR 10,000.
The winners were Julia Danckwerth with “Spur”, an app to assist dementia patients, and the Mi.Mu team, whose “Gloves for Music” help musicians control their musical devices. Cornelia Yzer, Senator for Economics, Technology and Research presented each of them with a sum of EUR 5,000 prize money and accompanying certificates in Microsoft’s Berlin offices.
Robert Eysoldt developed and produced the pitch format and hosted the evening event.
