Every year, the Förderpreis (Development Award) is presented to the best unimplemented film idea. The Deutsche Werbefilmakademie’s Förderpreis offers students, apprentices and any other young talent a platform for their cinematic creativity.
In 2013, all the nominees were invited to Berlin to present their idea to an audience and independent panel of experts. Josh Dawson impressed the panel with his idea and received EUR 20,000 in prize money to implement his project.
In 2013, Robert Eysoldt developed the format together with the Deutsche Werbefilmakademie and was responsible for the staging and hosted the presentation of ideas at Platoon-Kunsthalle.
